This is why the Muladhara chakra is the most obvious choice for what's represented through the Fire Temple's features, and the characteristics of its inhabitants. The core of the Earth is also where all life pulls its energy. Water can be called the Earth's life blood, too, but it's through volcanic activity and the shifting and migration of the tectonic plates that the world as we know it was formed. The Fire Temple is located in an environment where the very life blood of the Earth flows through its halls from out of the planet's core. The elements that these chakras represent are different than the elements that the sages in OoT represent, but you can see the attributes that they represent clearly through the characteristics of each of the environments and the characters that inhabit these worlds. The chakras are the Muladhara, Svadhisthana, Manipura, Anahata, Visuddha, Ajna, and Sahasrara. It might not be entirely mine, but I've noticed there's a similarity between the colors of the sages in the game The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, and the colors of the chakras. Here's an interesting theory I thought of.
